What are donations?

For individuals or organizations applying for help from foundations, it is crucial to have at least clear understanding of the way the funds of the foundation which are available for distribution are awarded, and for what purposes tax exemptions are allowed. Such understanding will help the applicants with their applications to certain foundations.

Educational foundations

Educational foundations help in establishing project phases.It is generally designed for small projects in their earliest stage of development, before conceiving the whole project or plan of further develpoment.
The idea is to take care about the beginning of the project.

Partnership foundations

is donation or financing program where different "partners" enter the project.
In some cases, it can refere to merge of foundations between government and some other source.It can also refere to partners who give donations

Stimulative donations

These are donations wich include aims " if you succeed in it, you will get donation in this amount." It is more difficult to achieve in cultural and artistic fields.This term can also refere to collecting of donations with private foundations ( collecting a dollar by dollar,e.g. from the local community??)

Stipulated donations

Stipulated donations mean that one donator asks others to integrate, in other to make their donation a part of project foundations, depending on the remaining part which is at desposal from other sources.Proof of stipulated offer can be used in demanding foundations anywhere ,or for taking loans for ballancing demanding foundations.

Pilot foundations

are given for projects which do the examinations which enable the final result to be estimated before any further foundation or project expansion.Pilot project usually last for one year.

Special foundations

They are assigned for special purposes, e.g. costs of transportation, for buying equipment or educational fees.They can't be used if not defined.

Small donations

It sometimes refer to gifts, and are assigned to a purpose when donator thinks that the project or application has a special value, but that isn't in longterm interest.

Capital donations

are assigned to a purpose for organizations according to main capital expenses, e.g. building construction.Although many foundations exclude such demands,there are exceptions when it has to do with benefit of the community.

Evaluation donations

They are intended fpr projects which were successfully started as pilot projects and require official external assessment before demanding the sponsorship.
This donation functions successfully as a powerful mean, enabling recipient to demand further sponshorship giving the accurate,particular and objective information about their project due to inquiry of donators.

Loan

are available from some donators instead of direct donation.They are often at low or nominal interest rates,with possibility of flexible deadline for payment.These loans can be at disposal for major expenses e.g.musical instruments,commercial projects for instance exibitions,where there are realistic expetations for income.

Internacional donations

They are available to individuals and organizations in Australia,from overseas organisation which are able to give donations internacionali.
Amount and type of donation variate,and acceptability and task demandings have to be explored.
