How «Osmijeh» (Smile) was established

The non-profit organization «Osmijeh» Bjelovar, was registered on the 27th July 2006, after a meeting of several people holding the same views about the need of civil society development. The organization is a non-party, non-governmental and non-profit organization which gathers citizens, institutions and interest groups, enabling them to realise their personal and common interests related to civil society development and democracy.

The mission

To stimulate and promote cooperation in local communities with the aim of long-term development.

Our vision is a balanced society with developed local communities for the benefit of present and future generations.

Openness, being involved, fairness, trust, partnership, innovation.

The users

Basic users are citizens over 40 years of age, as well as those of other generations, non-governmental organizations, local self-government and the business sector.
